The Crystal Ge ms ar e Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Stev en, a yo ung half -hum an, half-Gem boy who inherited h is gemston e from his mother, the Gems' former lea der Rose Qua rtz. A s Steven tries to figure out his powers, he spends hi s days wi th h is human father Greg, his friend Connie, other people in B each City, or t he other Gems, whether to help the m save the wo rld or just to hang o ut.
