Synopsis Do-seong (Yoo Min) is a child monk who lives at a small mountain temple with the head monk (Byeon Ki-jong), l earning t he teachings of Buddha. He be comes attached to a you ng wi dow (Cho i Eun-hee ) who co mes to pray at the t emple, and t he childless widow entre ats the h ead monk to let her raise Do-seong as her own son. Conflict ensue s when Do-se ong' s real mother (Ki m Seon-young) appears, but she leaves the temple for the sak e of her son's future. On the day th e wi dow i s to tak e the child down fro m the mountain, the head monk discov ers that Do- seong has killed a bird by ensna ringit in a trap and decides not to let the boy go into the secu lar world. W hen Do-seong finds out that his real mother has been to t he temple, he sets out to find her.
