FORGED IN FIRE features wor ld-class bladesmith s competing against each other to cr eate some of the most iconic edged weapons from history. I n each episode, four of the best blades miths in the country will come tog ethe r to put both the ir skills and reput ations on the line. Whether t hey are maki ng a Japanese katana, a me dieval broadsword, or an ancient throwing bl ade l ike the chakram, the weapons they forge will be fully funct ional and lethal works o f art and war. The unique h istories contained within each weap on will be creativ ely told during the forging process an d the f inal weapons themsel ves will be assessed and rut hlessly teste d by o ur pa nel of expert j udges. These dynamic and explosive tests will be individu ally designed to push the weapons to the ir abso lute limit.
