The am ount of wor k and tim e tha t went into this project is quite remarkable. The cameras wer e built specifically for this projec t by film ma ker John Downer and hi s team at Jo hn Downer Productions. Th e raw stats behind the production of Spy in th e Wild are enoug h to make yo ur e yes water. The crew covere d 330,000 m iles travelling to 31 loca tions in 21 coun tries, stretching from th e Arctic t o the An tarctic and all places in be tween. Spy i n the Wil d took three years to shoot , over 800 filmin g days.
