The amount of work and ti me that wen t int o this project is quite remarkable. The came ras were bu ilt s pecifically for t his project by f ilm maker John Downe r and his team at John Downer Prod uctions. The raw stats behind the p roducti on of Spy in the Wild are eno ugh to m ake your eyes wate r. The crew covered 330,000 miles travelling to 31 lo catio ns in 21 countr ies, stretc hing from the Ar ctic to the Antarc tic and all places in between. Spy in the Wild took thre e year s to shoot, over 800 filming days.
