Get Smart , Agai n! is a m ade-for-TV movie based on th e 196 5-1970 NBC /CBS te levi sion ser ies, Get Smart!, wh ich originally aired February 26, 1989 on ABC (ironically , the network that rejected th e original pilot for the Get Sm art! TV s eries). It h as subsequently been released t wice on DVD by d ifferent publishers. In the video release of t he movie, the bac kgroun d can ned lau ghter (pre -reco rded la ughte r ad ded later to t he soundtrack), is absent. Overview< br/> Dif fere nces between Get Smart, Agai n! and The Nude B omb The film is not as well known as the earlier theatrical release, The Nude Bomb, al so based on Get Smart, b ut was better r eceived by fans of th e original program. Unlik e The Nud e Bomb, which featu red only t he cha racters of Smart, The Chief (with Dana Elcar replacing th e deceased E dward Platt) , Agent 13 (D ave Ketchum in the series, portrayed by Joey Forman in The Nude Bomb, who had played th e cha ract er Harry Hoo in the series) and Larrab ee, Get Smar t, Again! featured all of the surviving original cast reprising t heir roles. The tone and fe el of Get Smart, A gain! were also closer to that of the origina l series. Get Smart, Again! was written and pr oduced by L eonard S tern, who was a pr oducer o f the original ser ies. One element of the Nud e Bomb ig nore d co mpletely was the renaming of CONTROL as PI TS in the earlie r film; although as CON TROL is said to h ave disbanded in t he 1970s, it39;s not imp ossible for both CONTROL and PITS to exis t withi n the contin uity of the f ranchise. Barb ara Feldon' s character, 9 9, makes a reference to T.H.R.U.S.H., th e evi l or ganization in The Man From U. N.C.L.E., a show on which Feldon guest- starred. Theme music Get Smart , Ag ain! also reprises t he TV prog ram's o riginal theme mus ic and opening credit s equence, which w ere absent from The Nude Bo mb. In this case , how ever, the corrid ors we re cove red in cobwebs and the phone-b ooth elevator that led to CONTROL headquarters worked in reverse, causing Smart to be th rown to the t op of the booth. Sy nopsi s Maxwell Smart, actin g as a protoc ol offi cer since CONTR OL was disb anded in the early 19 70s, is reactivated as a counterintelligence agent by Commander D rury (Kennet h Mars) of the United States Intelligence Ag ency. KAOS, long considere d defunct, has been revitalized by a corporate takeov er. Its firs t sch eme involves tu rning a fo rgotten American scientist and using his w eather control ma chine to ext ort $250 billi on US dollars from t he United States Gover nment. Drury , convin ced tha t only Smart has the expert ise to combat KAOS, gives him carte blanche to react ivate forme r CON TROL age nts to ass ist him in hi s task. Al ong w ith Drury39;s bu mbling a ide, Beamish (Steve Levitt), Smart recruits Lar rabee (who, bel ieving tha t he was und er orders from Richard Nixon to stay at his pos t until relieved, has bee n living in his off ice in t he now-aban doned CONTROL headquarters ten ding his office plants), Agent 13, Hymie the Robot (no w employed as a cra sh test dummy) an d ultimately, his wife 99 (Barbara Feldon) to fi nd the security leak that allowed the sci entist to defec t, locate th e we ather machine and disa rm it. T hey are opposed by KAO S mole s within the USIA, who are able to p redict Max's every move w ith the aid of sto len copies of 99's unpublishe d memo irs. The visible head of the KAOS scheme is revea led to be Max's old nemesi s, Sieg fried, but he is merely the agent of a higher executive wh om even he has never met. This h igher pow er is finally revealed as Ni cholas Demente ( Harold Gould), 9939;s pub lisher, who intends n ot only to extor t th e money but also to create weather t hat will keep people eternally indoor s and interfere with television reception , forcing millions t o entertain themselves by buying Dem ente' ;s books and publication s. Comedic sty le The script i s li ttered w ith typical Maxwell Smart ve rbal gags , and large po rtions of the plot serve only as se t ups for Get Smart!-style sight g ags ( such as a d uel betwe en Max and a KAOS hitman using remote co ntrolled fil e cabinet drawers) . The film also fea tures th e arr ay of bizarre gadgetry an d po litical sa tire t hat were hal lmarks of the original serie s. The cone of sile nce has been su perseded by &qu ot;Hover Cover" where a meeting is held on a rooftop wi th three h elicopters hover ing overh ead. The failure of Hover Cover leads to the deve lopment o f "The Hall Of Hush",a soundp roof room wh ere words pri nt out sil ently in mid air, a success at first until the w ords begin to print forw ard, backwar d and on top of each other. M ax changes the well known quote "Dr. Living ston e I Presume" to " ;Dr. Hot tentot I Presume& quot;. 1995 r evival The re lative success of th e film prompted the developme nt of a short-li ved 1995 weekly series o n FOX, also tit led Get Smart, with Don Adams and Barbara Feldon reprising their characters as the ir bumbling son, Zach (Andy Dick), b ecomes CO NTROL's star agent.< br/> 原班人马啊,好想 看。
