The Simpsons focuses on a family o f five. There is the fath er, Homer, a dull-witted, alco holic , lazy, but lovable man. He often get s his family into crazy situatio ns but alway s man ages to fix things. The mother, Marge, is a stay at home mom who k eeps the famil y together . She is the ideal w ife an d mother though she can be a little naive at times. S he always does what she thinks is best for her family. Next is Bart, the 10 year old boy who lives on playing pra nks. He gets into a lot of troub le but i s generally a good kid. Next is the neglecte d middle c hild, Lisa. Lisa is the brain of the family and sometimes fe els left out because of that. She is an outcast at school becau se of her talent. Finally there is Maggie the baby. Though she doe sn9;t sa y much she is well known espe cially for her red pacifier.
