剧情：
Set in an unspeci fied French villa ge, th e locals are shoc ked when a grou p of girls skinny dipping in the nearby lake (all very tastefully done I h asten to add) are killed by a group of zombi efied Naz i sold iers, that spri ng up out of the waters and dra g them down to t heir demise. A couple of detectives are brought in to try and solve the mysterious mur ders, only to end up as the zomb ies next victims. It tur ns out that during the war, the French resistance ambus hed and killed a squad of German soldiers and dumped the bodies into the nearby lake, but failed to tak e notice of any of the local supers titions (never a wise mo ve). Although, seeing as this fi lm appears to be se t in the early 80's, why it's t aken so lo ng for t hem to em erge and s tart kil ling peop le is a bit of a mystery, but there you g o. Not-with-standing, the villager s quickly organ ise a lynch mob to take down the zo mbie me nace, onl y to end up being decimated by the undead so ldiers, who& #39;s 'conv incing'; zo mbie make-up basically consists of green pai nt, which doesn& #39;t even c over the whole of the actors faces and keeps washing off in the lake. There's also a bizarre sub plot abo ut one of t he zombies visiti ng his f ormer da ughter, wh o strangely still looks all of 12 despite the fact she should be in her 40' ;s if she was born near the end of the war, but th en since when did l ogic ever come in to t hese f ilms ? Suc h as why do thei r unifo rms still look almost new d espite being underwater for 40 year s, or how come the skinny dipping girls are o nly knee dee p in the wat er when vie wed from the lakeside, yet appear to be swimming in 12 feet of it from the underwater shots? Bad acting, naff zombie make-up ( the aforementioned green face paint), painfully obv ious un derwa ter shot s filmed in a swimming p ool, not to mention the plot inconsistencies bigger than the afo rementioned lake itsel f. Low b udget d oesn& #39;t even begin to de scribe thi s film, which quite unbelievably w as directed by respected E urohorr or director Jean Rolli n, alb eit under th e pseud o name J A Lase r. That's not to say the film isn't without m erit. I bust a g ut laughin g at the thoroughly r idiculous scene s of the zom bies attacking the na ked young girls, and the equally ridiculous slapstick battle with the an gry villagers.
