剧情：
Set in an unspecified French village, the locals are shocked when a g roup of gir ls skinny dipping in the nearby lake (all very tastefully done I hasten to add) are killed b y a group o f zombiefie d Nazi soldi ers, that spring up out of the waters and drag them down to their demise. A couple of detectives are brought in to try and solve the mysterious murd ers, only to end up as the z ombies n ext victim s. It turns out that during the war, t he French resistanc e ambushed and killed a squa d of German soldiers and du mped the b odies into t he nearby lake, but fai led to take notice of any of the local superstitions (neve r a wise m ove). Al though, seeing as this film appears to be set in the early 80's , why it 's tak en so long for t hem to emer ge and start killing people is a bit of a my stery, but there you go. N ot-with-st anding, the village rs quickly organise a lynch mob to take dow n the zombie menace, only to end up b eing de cimated by t he undead s oldiers, w ho's 'convincing' zo mbie make- up basically consi sts of gr een paint, whic h doesn 9;t even cover the whole of the actors faces and keeps washing off in the l ake. There's also a bizarre sub plot about one of the zom bies visiting his former daughter , who strange ly still loo ks all of 12 de spite the fact she should be in her 4 0's if she was born near the end of the war, but th en since when did logic ever come into these fil ms? Such as why do their uniforms stil l look a lmost new despite being underwater for 40 years, or ho w come the skinny dipping gir ls a re on ly kn ee deep in the wa ter whe n viewed fr om t he lakesi de, yet appear t o be swimming in 12 feet of it from the underwater shot s? B ad acting, na ff zombie make-u p (the a foremention ed green fa ce paint), painfully obvious und erwater sh ots filmed in a swimmin g pool, not to ment ion the plot inconsist encies bigger t han the aforementioned lake itself . Lo w budget doesn't even begin to describe this film, which quite unbelievably was d irected by respected Euro horror director Jean Rollin , al beit und er the pseud o na me J A Laser. Th at's no t to say the film isn't without merit . I bust a gut laughin g at the th oroughly ridiculous scenes of the zombies attacking the nake d young girls, and the equally ridiculous s lapstick batt le with the angry villagers.
