The Simpsons focuses o n a family of five. There i s the father, Homer, a dull-witted, alcoholic, lazy, but lovable ma n. He often g ets his family int o crazy si tuation s but alw ays man ages to fix things. The mother, Marge, is a stay at home mo m who keeps the fa mily together. She is the ideal wife and mother though sh e can b e a little n aive at times. S he always does what she thinks is best for her family. Next is Bart, the 10 year old boy who lives on playi ng pranks. He gets into a lo t of trouble bu t is generally a good k id. Next is th e neglected middle child, Lis a. Lisa is the brain o f the family and so metimes feels lef t out beca use of that. She is an outcast at sc hool becau se of her tal ent. F inally there is Maggie the baby. Though she d oesn't say much she is well known es pecially for her red pacifier.
