As in all of her endeavors , Miss Marple i ntends to take an activ e role in the job and eve n shows u p to the board meeting dressed in naval blu es. W hen a fellow trustee i s po isoned just prio r to h is making som e kind of re velation, Miss Marple decid es to use her position to sp end time on the ship. Thi s upsets the vessel 's fragile social network as she di spossesses blustering Captain Rhumstone from his qu arters.
