The y plot a strategic offensi ve to take over th e city, hitting the airport, then the TV stations an d th e power plant. If yo u love h orror, gory, and v iolent m ovies a nd don't mind a little bad a cting, then you will LOVE this movie. It is exciting and even a bit suspenseful. It starts out fast and hard and maintains a steady pace of mayhem and carn age. I can't believe more people haven't seen t his film. I ha ve yet to meet a horror mov ie buff that has seen t his film be fore. It is a true gemstone of Eu ropean horror a nd exploitation, definitely up to par with the classic s of the genre su ch as Zombi 2, Demons, House by the C emetery, etc. And it's even readily available uncut (92 minutes) on DVD from A nchor Bay (u nder the ti tle Nig htmare City ) an d on VHS under the title City of the Wa lking Dead.
