This season began me rely two whole week s after the first seas on had ended, on A pril 19, 2 008, with the airing of The Elite G uard, an d ended on July 5, 2008, wi th the two -parter, A Bridge Too Close. The season revolved main ly around the Autobots in the aftermath of Megatron's return, tryin g to restore the city and their image. Meanwhile, Megatron, Lugnu t, and Blitzwin g have captu red Pr of. Sumda c in order to build a Space Bridge , hoping to use it to conqu er a weakened C ybertron from within. A sub-p lot also focu ses on Sari as she searches for h er father, while learning that the re is no re cord of her existence of any m eans. Also, Blackarac hnia (originally Elita One) has been reduced to a minor recurring c haracter, only appear ing in one episode of th e entire season (Blac k Fri 按规矩， 两人每收一个人的好处，就 要往外掏点货，偏偏他们是 一个一个飞升的，总不 好意思把说过的消息， 再给他们来一遍，没办法下，待到文遥飞 升，人家又给他们摆了一席，两人把该说的都说了，只能跟他们八卦纯阳宗宗主被人 伏杀的事了。
